Courtney is an investor with a penchant for aerospace innovations and climate tech. She joins Atento from the World Economic Forum, where she was on the Aerospace and Drones team, focussed on bringing the clean energy transition to life in all things that fly. At WEF, she learned the vital nature of public-private partnerships and international cooperation by helping to convene global leaders to make powerful changes for collective progress. She grew up in La Jolla, California, where the beaches, mountains, and outdoors formed a key part of her passion for the natural world, and her love of travel drew her to planes. Courtney attended lycée in France; subsequently, her undergraduate degree in Land Economy brought her to England in the charming town of Cambridge. She began her career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch in London, followed by several years at Rolls-Royce in Government Relations in the UK and US, focussed on Brexit, Tax, and Climate Policy. Courtney loves to explore and is passionate about conservation, especially of rhinos in Kenya and South Africa. She recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and was previously part of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, where she was a driver racing against 40 other teams across the outback of Australia, demonstrating to the world the power and capability of solar energy. In her free time, she loves to ski, run, swim, and golf with her friends and family, especially her Mini Bernedoodle named Ranger. She has traveled to over 60 countries and hopes to continue to learn from others around the world by appreciating their customs and way of life.
