Originally from Southern California, Naomi Cervantes has spent her career at the intersection of education and technology in New York City. Passionate about increasing access and understanding the impact potential of high-quality mentorship, Naomi’s career has now led her to Tulsa, where she is thrilled to join Atento Capital as Platform Operations Manager, supporting portfolio companies. Most recently, Naomi supported student entrepreneurs at the earliest stages of venture building as the Director of Studio Partnerships at Cornell Tech. Leveraging her background in Communications from St. John’s University and MBA from Cornell University, Naomi led partnership efforts with external organizations and individuals, organized large-scale events to foster community building, and participated in the investment committee for the Cornell Tech Startup Awards, a pre-seed investment initiative for graduating student teams. These experiences inspired Naomi to transition into venture capital, where she is excited to unlock unsung potential at an even larger scale with Atento Capital. Naomi brings a wealth of experience in building strategic partnerships, fostering innovation, and enhancing operational efficiencies to drive organizational growth. In her free time, you will find Naomi traveling with friends, discovering the best restaurants and coffee shops, scoping out street art, thrifting, and visiting botanical gardens.
