Leandra Elberger is a native New Yorker (and recent Tulsa transplant!) who has spent the majority of her career working with aspiring entrepreneurs who are passionate about building things that create value. Most recently, Leandra was the Studio Director at Cornell Tech in New York City, where she led a team that steered students through a series of intensely immersive courses, where they developed tech solutions for leading startups, companies, and organizations in NYC, and learned how to build their own ventures. Prior to Cornell Tech, Leandra was the tenth hire at Venture for America, a fellowship program for recent college graduates who want to work at startups and become entrepreneurs. At Venture for America, Leandra helped scale the organization and worked closely with former presidential candidate Andrew Yang to build out the organization's fundraising operations, events, and communications strategy. She even produced a (now defunct) podcast called Smart People Should Build Things. Leandra holds a BA in international relations and community health from Tufts University and an MBA from Cornell University. Outside of the office, Leandra loves traveling, spending time with her giant cat Henry, and playing genius pranks on her friends.
